The legendary Arena of Champions will play host to the first Sudoku Combat Marathon this Easter. It’s time to sort the exceptional from the amateur as Sudoku Combat gets serious. Brave souls will question their courage and commitment, and stamina will be stretched to the limit over five days of marathon madness.
Marathon Begins: Thursday 20th March, midday (AEDST)
Marathon Ends: Tuesday 25th March, midday (AEDST)
Place: The SCT Arena of Champions
As befits this mighty test of wills, we are bestowing a special prize on the player who can win the most overall games. The SCT Easter Marathon Champion will receive an iPod Shuffle along with eternal YouPlay fame and glory.
To ensure a fair playing field the more challenging levels have been weighted with a higher point rate:
- A win in the Easy and Medium categories = 1 point
- A win in the Hard or Evil categories = 2 points
While the competition is sure to be fierce, you don’t have to be a Sudoku professional to enter. There’s a level to suit every player, and we’ve also upped the usual token prizes for this once-in-a-lifetime event:
1st Place: 500 tokens
2nd Place: 350 tokens
3rd place: 150 tokens
