Who's that girl?
Hello! Bonjour! Nei ho! Hola! Namaste! Ciao! Privet! Er…g’day?
No your eyes are not deceiving you – I’m back and I’m very happy to be here.
But wither have I been?
[Deep and weary sigh] I dare not burden you with dark tales of a long and lonely journey. Instead, I implore you to engage your imagination and conjure a poetic explanation for my long absence from the YP flock.
For instance, perhaps I befriended a talking dog named Ruffy and together we ran wild, plotting crazy canine adventures and chasing cars just for kicks.
Or my superhero alter-ego was summoned urgently by the leader of the free world to save humanity from imminent destruction before hosting a punch n' pancakes pool party. Again.
Or I was called upon to arbitrate when angry Plutonians descended to earth, cranky and protesting against the demotion of their home from a planet to a ‘dwarf-planet’.
Or maybe I’ve just been riding the byways and highways searching skywards for an answer.
You’ll never know.
But all that matters now is I’ve returned! Revitalised! And I can blink!
I’ll be writing regularly about all things YouPlay – so check back often for the latest news, views and random ramblings. Over the coming weeks I’ll be introducing new YP characters – and (ta-dah) – the launch of a brand new Lovatts puzzle.
As a wise man once said “My home is not a place, it is a people” – and YouPlayers, I couldn’t agree more. A journey can be many things, but for me, the best part has been returning to the YP friends and family I call home.

PS: While I’m sure you’re all gasping with delight and admiration at my new found facial expressions and how they so archly mirror the sentiment of my pithy banter; something tells me that the YP Tech Team have tasted a Frankenstein-ish power for unnatural creation and they are hungry for more.
My unwavering instinct is that they will not rest until I have become completely transformed by their fancy tricks and fandangled technology.
Who knows, soon I might even be able to…talk?

Since you and the forums have left, YouPlay has become just a bunch of puzzles and games, with no personality to the site. So, welcome back Jessie.
Hi, Jessie, It's good to see you again! The puzzles are still the same, but with the demise of the forum and the departure of McTroy and Dr. Play, it's been very impersonal. Your smile is certainly a plus, very cleverly done :-) Beauregarde.
