This week why don’t you…

Grab a bargain in the YP End of Winter Game Sale!

The perfect cup of tea is a very good thing. But only when prepared with delicious loose leaves that have swirled their tanniny goodness through freshly-boiled water in a warmed pot for exactly five minutes; the glorious amber nectar then decanted with great ceremony into a thin-lipped china cup before receiving a final loving kiss of full cream milk.

However if you were to add, say, a rich and gooey, still-warm-from-the-oven chocolate brownie to the mix, you would immediately elevate a ‘good’ thing to a sensational thing.

Snuggling into clean, warm flannelette sheets on a cold winters night to the meditative patter of rain falling on the roof is also a good thing.

Waking from said night to breakfast grandly upon pancakes and maple syrup, carried with grave reverence to your bedside on a tray adorned with a freshly clipped rose (hopefully pilfered from your cranky neighbour’s prize-winning display) - by your children/beloved/highly-advanced pet can only be described as fabulous.

Discovering a favourite new puzzle or game that ticks all your particular puzzle fetishist boxes is… well you can see where this is going, right?

Discovering that the game is on sale  - and I mean REALLY discounted - is enough to make you bust out a happy dance. And so you should – because you can now purchase a HUGE range of download games for an amazing $6.99! In some cases that’s 75% off!

You can browse through our Download Game categories here .
Don’t forget that you can trial every game for FREE (with absolutely no obligations) before purchasing.

My picks this week:

LUXOR 3 – (Puzzle)

LUXOR 3 takes you on an ethereal journey as you battle the power-hungry god of Chaos to free the essences of other Egyptian gods. Utilize reflectors to achieve nearly impossible matches, make three matches in a row and release supernatural power-ups, and collect Ankh coins to purchase important upgrades. Collect canopic jars to unlock bonus levels and hit elusive Golden Scarabs to discover hidden treasures!

Bookworm Adventures – Astounding Planet (Word Game)

Save the Great Library once and for all in the incredible sci-fi finale to the adventurous Bookworm word trilogy! In this final episode, Lex and his friends find themselves in a strange galaxy filled with space mutants and rampaging robots. With Mother Goose, the Monkey King, and now Skeletrox and H.G. Wells by your side, help Lex battle these alien foes and bring this fun-filled quest to its stirring conclusion!

Spending time with my girls (now adult) playing canasta, singing along to The Firms Serious Fun album - hands up who remembers the potato head animation of Star Trekking from the late 70's (?)- and catching up with what's happening in our lives.

Indulging my inner Night Owl: Reading or crafting until 2 or 3 a.m. (total stillness everywhere, with the music of a night bird in the distance) and then staying in bed until I'm all slept out and ready to take on the world.

Big sloppy kisses from my 2 grandsons & the absolutely winning smiles when they shout NANNY!!! when I arrive is the best. Followed closely by hugs from my daughters & a cuppa in bed delivered by my darling husband of 35 years. Yes, Life is beautiful. Now if I could just complete the Lovetts Sudoku puzzle book without any erasing I would be in heaven. :-)
